TAKASHI PAOLO NAGAI a Lecture by Gabriele Di Comite

Known by many as “the Saint of Urakami”, Takashi Nagai’s journey brought him from the millenary Shinto tradition, in which he was raised, through the earthquake of modern materialism and positivism. This culminated with an unexpected conversion to Catholicism, upon which he took the name Paul, and his experiences in the aftermath of the atomic bomb on Nagasaki.  Dr Di Comite, will present the results of his research for the first time in Japan, in presence of the Apostolic Nuncio for Japan and local authorities. The event will be held in Tokyo (10am UK time) in English and live-streamed on Youtube.
